Current computer models are projecting a possible strong winter storm for the area Friday into Saturday. There still are questions as to the storm track, which will determine greatly snowfall potential. Current indications are that 5-8 inches of snowfall could be possible. In addition, it is possible winds could pick up on Saturday causing blowing snow. However, this should be a wet snowfall and the blowing snow could be suppressed. The lastest model as of this afternoon, has backed off snowfall amounts now, but could change again tonight.
Stay tuned and updates will be issued as warranted
